The principal of the firm is attorney Anne M. Thompson, a third generation Oregon lawyer.
Anne and her father, Robert E. Thompson, formed The Thompson Law Firm in 1994. Robert E. Thompson has been a member of the Oregon Bar since 1958. He is a graduate of Oregon State University and Willamette Law School and is now enjoying an active retirement.
In addition to her work assisting individuals and families with their estate planning, business planning, probate, and trust administration, Anne Thompson spends substantial time keeping up-to-date with the ever-changing federal and state laws that affect estate planning, tax, and estate and trust administration. She is an executive committee member of the Estate Planning and Administration Section of the Oregon State Bar and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland. Anne is actively involved as a speaker and organizer of continuing education presentations for attorneys and other professionals.
